On March 15, 2024, Hon Adu Poku Christian (DCE) and Hon Damata Ama Appianimaa Salem (Elected Parliamentary Candidate for the NPP) met with Managers of Information Centres at the Kodie Education Conference Room.Hon. APC, in his initial remarks, explained the goal of the meeting, which was to address the numerous complaints submitted by community members against Information Centre Managers over noise pollution. Hon also urged Information Centre Managers to remain focused on the primary goal of establishing Information Centres: to disseminate accurate information to the community.
He also warned everyone, notably the Manager, to be cautious in their job to prevent prosecution or revocation of the permission. He instructed them to monitor their clients for disinformation and the content of jingles and messages that have the potential to lead young people into promiscuity. Hon also ordered information center managers to promote government programs in the district for free.
In her statement, NPP Parliamentary Candidate elect Hon. Damata Ama Appianimaa Salem emphasized government policies and encouraged them to avoid infiltration of propaganda in the media.

Rev. Amoasi Takyi, Pastor of the Methodist Church in Atimatim and Constituency Chairman, urged Information Centre Managers to maintain the District’s tranquility and support government policies.
The Right to Information Officer also took the opportunity to educate the participants on the RTI laws, specifically on the procedure of accessing information and the rights granted to individuals under the act.
