The DCE for Afigya Kwabre South, Hon. Adu Poku Christian was joined by the Apagyahene,Nana Owusu Peprah II, the District Coordinating Director, Mr Andrews Mensah together with the Assembly Staff and Personnel from the Forestry Commission to plant 15,000 trees in some Communities and Institutions within the District on Friday, 10th June,2022.
The Planting exercise forms part of Green Ghana Initiative introduced by the government to replenish the nation’s depleted Forest Cover with about 20million trees expected to be planted nation wide.
