PROFILE OF AFIGYA KWABRE SOUTH<\/strong> DISTRICT HEALTH DIRECTORATE<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The District Health Directorate is\u00a0headed by District Director of Health Service<\/strong>\u00a0who provides supervision, technical and management support as well as champion the implementation of health policies and programmes in the district and sub-districts. The Afigya Kwabre South Health Directorate is located just behind the District Education Office. Politically, there are 6 sub-districts, namely, Afrancho, Atimatim, Aboabogya, Ankaase, Brofoyedu and Kodie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are seven units under the District Director:<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. District Administrative Officer headed by Ms. Louisa Boateng.<\/li>
  2. The District Disease Control Officer headed by Mr. Robert Mpoan<\/li>
  3. The District Health Information Officer headed by Mr. Umarl Mohammed<\/li>
  4. The District Health Promotion Officer headed by Mr. Emmanuel Boakye<\/li>
  5. The District Public Health Nurse headed by Ms. Rosemary Owusu<\/li>
  6. The District Nutrition Officer headed by Mrs. Evelyn Dadson<\/li>
  7. The District Accountant headed by Mr. Frank Kyei-Mensah<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
