He underscored the Assembly’s unwavering dedication to fostering an inclusive environment conducive to the growth of the disabled, while also urging the beneficiaries to employ the allocated resources according to their intended purpose judiciously.

The acting head of Social Welfare and Community Development, Mr. Godfred Atta Effah pointed out Disability Fund Committee members duly meet to apportion the resources to the eligible ones and advised the disabled not to consider themselves as unable to perform responsible activities in society, hence the government’s interventions to tap their potentials to eke out their living.

Expressions of gratitude were shared by the beneficiaries led by their Chairman, John Asamoah, extolling the district assembly for its meaningful support. He acknowledged the transformative potential of the disbursed items and the financial grants, recognizing their role in positively altering their lives and livelihoods.
